Service scope and limitations
What Singhania Packers covers
We provide packing, loading, transport, unloading, and unpacking services for household goods, office items, and commercial stock within Hyderabad and across India. We also manage full-building relocations in Madhapur, Gachibowli, and Jubilee Hills where we know society rules, parking restrictions, and lift timings.

What we do NOT cover
Singhania Packers is not responsible for damage caused by acts of God (floods, earthquakes), war, civil unrest, or events beyond reasonable control. We do not transport hazardous goods, firearms, explosives, or items prohibited under Indian law. Perishable goods, plants, and pets require separate arrangement. If your items are packed by you (not our crew), we accept no liability for breakage or loss during transport.
Liability and damage claims
Standard carrier liability
Under Indian carriage law and our IBA Code MUO-2547 registration, Singhania Packers' liability is limited to ₹50 per kilogram of goods lost or damaged, unless you opt for Declared Value Coverage. For example, if 500 kg of your household goods are damaged, standard coverage caps liability at ₹25,000. Many Hyderabad customers moving from Banjara Hills or Kondapur upgrade to declared value for peace of mind on high-value items.
Declared Value Coverage
You can declare the full value of your goods at the time of quotation. Singhania will calculate an additional premium (typically ₹2–₹5 per ₹1,000 of declared value). This insurance-backed coverage protects your relocation comprehensively. Our teams in Begumpet and Kukatpally always recommend this for customers with electronics, jewelry, or antiques.
Claim procedure
If damage or loss occurs, you must notify Singhania within 48 hours of delivery with photo evidence and the itemized inventory list signed at pickup. Claims filed after 7 days are not entertained. Our IBA-approved process ensures you receive settlement within 30 days of approved claim submission, per Indian goods transport norms.
Pricing, estimates, and payment terms
How quotation works
Our local crew provides on-site or virtual surveys for customers in Manikonda, Miyapur, and across Hyderabad to assess volume, floor levels, and distance. Quotations are valid for 15 days. Any change in pickup/delivery date, destination, or goods volume voids the original quote. Final charges depend on actual weight/volume at pickup.
Payment schedule
For moves within Hyderabad (e.g., Madhapur to Banjara Hills), we typically request 50% advance at booking and 50% on job completion or before unloading. For interstate moves, 40% advance, 40% before loading, and 20% on delivery is standard. Cash, bank transfer, and online payment are accepted. GST is applicable to all relocation invoices at current applicable rates.
Cancellation and refund policy
Cancellations made 10+ days before the move date are refunded in full, minus 5% administrative fee. Cancellations within 10 days forfeit 50% of the advance amount. Cancellations within 3 days of the move are non-refundable. Force majeure events (lockdown, natural disaster) may be subject to alternate dates at no extra cost.

What you must disclose
You must inform Singhania of any items requiring special handling (fragile, valuable, hazardous). You must also disclose building restrictions: lift size in Hitech City society, parking charges in Jubilee Hills, or demolition restrictions in old Hyderabad layouts like Begumpet. Failure to disclose voids liability for damage caused by these factors.
Goods verification
Our crew will list all items on the inventory checklist at pickup. You must sign and retain a copy. Any goods not listed on this checklist — including those packed separately or added later — are not covered by our liability or insurance. This is especially important for customers moving from multi-story apartments in Gachibowli or Kondapur.

GST and statutory compliance
Singhania Packers and Movers operates under valid GST Registration. All invoices include GST at applicable rates. We comply with the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, and Transport Commissioner regulations of Telangana. Data protection

Dispute resolution and jurisdiction
Jurisdiction
All disputes arising from Singhania Packers' services shall be governed by the laws of Telangana and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Hyderabad. This includes commercial disputes, liability claims, and contractual disagreements.

Singhania Packers may engage subcontractors for transport, storage, or specialized handling in remote Hyderabad localities or interstate routes. The main company remains liable for their performance. Any external storage facility used meets Indian warehouse standards and includes security, fire prevention, and pest control.
Amendments to these terms
Singhania Packers reserves the right to update these terms periodically to reflect changes in Indian law, GST rates, or IBA guidelines. Updated terms will be posted on our website. Your continued booking after notice of change constitutes acceptance of new terms.

If you provide a valid GST number, we issue a GST-compliant invoice; this doesn't reduce your cost but helps your company's expense bookkeeping. Non-GST registered customers receive a standard invoice with GST embedded in the total price.
What are your cancellation and refund terms?
Cancellations made 7+ days before the booked date (e.g., before your Madhapur-to-Banjara Hills move) receive 80% refund; cancellations 3–6 days prior receive 50% refund. Cancellations within 48 hours forfeit the booking amount. No refund applies if you reschedule more than twice. Dates changed by us due to unavailability are refunded in full or shifted free to your preferred date within 30 days.
Are there hidden charges after my quote?
No. Your Singhania quote includes labour, packing materials, vehicle hire, and standard transport within Hyderabad (Hitech City to Hayathnagar, Kondapur to Jubilee Hills). Extra charges apply only for: additional packing material (if you exceed estimate), tolls/highway fees (shown separately), assembly/disassembly of furniture, and optional premium insurance. All are disclosed before work starts and itemised on your final invoice.
How is damage assessed and claimed?
Inspect your goods within 48 hours of delivery in your Banjara Hills, Gachibowli, or Miyapur home. Report damage via WhatsApp photo, our claim form, and a copy of the original invoice. We inspect the damaged item (e.g., sofa leg, mirror frame) within 5–7 days. Claims up to ₹50,000 are processed within 30 days; claims exceeding this require third-party assessment. Premium insurance claims are settled within 45 days.
What jurisdiction applies to disputes?
All terms and disputes are governed by the laws of Telangana, India. Any legal action must be filed in Hyderabad's civil courts. If you're moving outside Hyderabad (e.g., to Bangalore or Chennai), local laws in the destination state apply to delivery-end responsibilities. Our IBA Code MUO-2547 ensures compliance with Federation standards.
Are there restrictions on items Singhania will move?
We cannot transport hazardous materials (flammable liquids, explosives, ammunition), perishable food, living plants in large quantities, or items exceeding ₹20 lakhs without separate insurance appraisal. Antiques, artwork, and jewellery require premium insurance (₹1,000–₹5,000 depending on value). Government/restricted goods (licenses, firearms) must comply with local Hyderabad regulations—your responsibility to arrange permits.
What if your crew causes damage to my apartment/building?
Singhania is liable for accidental building damage (scratched walls, door frames, floor marks) caused by our crew in your Madhapur, Kukatpally, or Kondapur society. We repair or compensate up to ₹25,000 per incident; you must report with photos within 24 hours. Intentional damage or damage from third-party contractors (electricians, painters hired by you) isn't our liability. Society gate restrictions and parking fines are your responsibility.
