Service scope
Singhania provides packing, loading, transportation, unloading, and unpacking services for household goods, office equipment, vehicles, and (where contracted) international relocation. Specialised services (piano, fish tank, antique restoration) are quoted separately.
Quotes and pricing
All quotes are valid for 15 days from the date of issue. Pricing is based on the inventory disclosed at survey; significant additions (more than 10% by volume) on move-day will be re-priced and shared in writing before loading begins. GST at 18% is added separately. Tolls and interstate permits are passed through at actual.
Payment terms
For local moves: 30% advance at booking, balance on delivery. For intercity moves: 50% at booking, balance on delivery. Corporate clients with credit terms: net 30 days from invoice. Payment via UPI, NEFT, RTGS, or cheque (subject to clearance).
Customer obligations
- Disclose all items accurately at survey, including high-value and fragile items
- Self-carry currency, jewellery, important documents, and personal medication
- Provide access to origin and destination addresses (lift, parking, gate keys)
- Be present (or appoint a representative) at packing and unloading
- Inspect goods at delivery and report damage within 24 hours
Liability and insurance
Singhania carries comprehensive transit insurance up to ₹10 lakh per shipment (higher limits available on declaration). Standard liability excludes: items packed by customer without our inspection, perishables, live animals, hazardous materials, currency, jewellery, and important documents. For uninsured loss, our liability is limited to ₹100 per kg of declared goods weight per IBA standards.
Cancellation and refund
See our Refund Policy for full details. Briefly: 48+ hours notice = full refund minus ₹500 admin fee; under 48 hours = ₹2,000 or 25% of quote (whichever higher) retained.
Force majeure
Singhania is not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond reasonable control: natural disasters, road closures, government restrictions, strikes, or pandemics. We will inform you of any such event and reschedule or refund as practical.
Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Indian law. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Hyderabad.
