These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Singhania Packers and Movers ("Company", "we", "us"). By booking our services, accessing our website, or engaging with us in any capacity, you ("Customer", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order, accepting a quote, or making any payment to Singhania Packers and Movers, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Service Description
Singhania Packers and Movers provides relocation, packing, transport, storage, and logistics services to residential and commercial customers across India. Specific service scope, timeline, and pricing are detailed in the individual quote, work order, or agreement signed with each customer.
3. Quotes & Bookings
- Quotes are valid for 7 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified
- Final pricing is confirmed after physical pre-move survey and inventory check
- Bookings are confirmed only on receipt of advance payment (typically 30% of estimated total)
- Customer must provide accurate inventory, pickup address, delivery address, and access details
4. Customer Obligations
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information about goods, addresses, and any special handling requirements
- Ensure goods are ready for packing/loading at the scheduled time
- Declare any hazardous, valuable, or restricted items (jewelry, cash, weapons, lithium batteries, etc.) — these may not be accepted for transit
- Be present (or designate a representative) at pickup and delivery
- Inspect goods at delivery and report visible damage in writing within 24 hours
- Make timely payments as per the agreed payment schedule
5. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are inclusive of applicable GST (currently 18%)
- Toll taxes, parking fees, and inter-state permits are billed separately at actuals with receipts
- Advance payment: 30% on booking confirmation
- Balance payment: 100% on delivery, before unloading
- Accepted payment modes: UPI, bank transfer, credit/debit card, cash (under ₹2 lakhs per legal limit)
- Late payment beyond 15 days attracts interest at 18% per annum
6. Cancellation
- Cancellation 48+ hours before scheduled move: full refund minus 5% processing fee
- Cancellation 24-48 hours before: 50% refund
- Cancellation less than 24 hours: no refund (advance forfeited)
- Date rescheduling: free if requested 48+ hours in advance, ₹2,000 charge if less
7. Insurance & Liability
All shipments include comprehensive transit insurance up to ₹5 crore (₹3 lakhs default for household items, ₹5 lakhs for high-value cargo). Our liability for damage, loss, or delay is limited to the insured value of the affected items. Pre-existing damage, manufacturing defects, and consequential losses (business interruption, emotional distress) are excluded.
8. Excluded Items
We do not transport: cash, jewelry, important documents (passports, share certificates), pets, livestock, hazardous chemicals, weapons, ammunition, perishable food (beyond 24-hour transit), lithium-battery devices over 100Wh without prior declaration, and any items prohibited under Indian law.
9. Delays & Force Majeure
Singhania Packers and Movers is not liable for delays caused by force majeure events including natural disasters, accidents, road blockages, political disturbances, government regulations, vehicle breakdowns despite reasonable maintenance, or any cause beyond our reasonable control.
10. Claims Process
- Damage or loss must be reported within 24 hours of delivery in writing (email to sales@singhaniapackers.in)
- Submit: photos of damage, item inventory, original invoice, and damage description
- Claim assessment within 48 hours
- Settlement within 30 days of acceptance
- Disputed claims escalate to Grievance Officer
11. Intellectual Property
All content on our website (logo, text, images, brand name) is the property of Singhania Packers and Movers and protected under Indian copyright law. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in the city where Singhania Packers and Movers is registered, unless mandated otherwise by Consumer Protection Act 2019.

What is Singhania Packers and Movers's IBA registration and GST number?
Singhania Packers and Movers is IBA-Approved with Code MUO-2547, registered under the Indian Movers & Packers Association since 2010. What are the payment terms and cancellation policy for a move?
We require 20% advance booking deposit to confirm your moving date. Remaining 80% is due on delivery completion. What are the liability limits and insurance coverage for goods in transit?
All goods are covered under our IBA-compliant transit insurance up to ₹5 lakh per consignment. Standard coverage pays 0.5% of declared value (minimum ₹500) if goods are damaged or lost. Optional extended coverage (₹2,500–₹5,000 extra) raises the payout to 1% of declared value with a faster, 7-day claim settlement. Damage claims must be reported within 48 hours with photographs and supporting documents.
How long do I have to report damage and file an insurance claim?
Damage or loss must be reported within 48 hours of delivery—photograph the goods and damaged packaging on receipt. Written claim forms (provided by our Hyderabad office) must be submitted within 14 days with photographs, invoice, and packing list. Our claims team processes valid claims within 14 calendar days and issues payment directly to your bank account or via cheque as per your choice.
Do tolls, parking, and GST come included in the moving quote?
Our quotes include packing materials, labour, vehicle hire, and GST at 5%. Tolls, parking fees (₹200–₹500 per location in Hitech City or Begumpet), and one-time society unloading charges (₹500–₹1,500 depending on building lifts and access) are listed separately. Final invoice clarity: all extra charges are itemized before the truck leaves your old address, no surprises at delivery.
Do you provide storage if my new home is not ready on moving day?
Yes, we offer secure, humidity-controlled storage at our Kukatpally facility for ₹500–₹1,200 per cubic metre per month, with no minimum lock-in. Goods stored for up to 30 days retain full insurance cover. Beyond 30 days, storage extension requires written approval. Our crew can unload at the storage facility or directly into your new Madhapur apartment—your choice—at no extra charge.

What happens if my move is delayed or the truck doesn't arrive on time?
Delivery delays due to vehicle breakdowns, traffic, or bad weather are communicated within 24 hours. If delay exceeds 3 working days due to our fault (maintenance or crew absence), you receive ₹500 per day compensation up to ₹5,000 (non-insurance claim). All delays are documented in a delay report and settlement issued within 7 days. Force majeure (floods, strikes, fuel shortage) are excluded under these terms.
