At Singhania Packers and Movers, we strive to deliver excellent service. However, we understand that plans change. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds are processed.
1. Cancellation Refunds

2. Service Quality Refunds
If you are dissatisfied with our service quality, you may file a refund request within 7 days of service completion. Refund eligibility is determined based on:
- Documented evidence of service failure (photos, written complaints, timestamps)
- Severity of the issue relative to the booked service scope
- Whether the issue was reported and addressed during the move
3. Damaged or Lost Goods Compensation
Compensation for damaged or lost goods is processed under our transit insurance policy (₹5 crore comprehensive coverage), not as a refund. Claims procedure:
- Report damage within 24 hours of delivery (email sales@singhaniapackers.in)
- Submit photos, original invoice, and inventory list within 7 days
- Claim assessment within 48 hours
- Settlement within 30 days of claim acceptance
4. Refund Processing Timeline
- Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days
- UPI/bank transfers: 3-5 business days to reflect in your account
- Credit card refunds: 7-10 business days (depending on issuing bank)
- Cash payments: bank transfer or cheque issued, 5-7 business days
5. Non-Refundable Charges
The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:
- Pre-survey charges (if customer cancels after survey is completed)
- Packing material charges (if materials have been delivered to pickup location)
- Government taxes (GST), toll fees, and statutory levies already paid on customer's behalf
- Third-party charges (customs, port handling for international moves)
6. How to Request a Refund
- Email sales@singhaniapackers.in with subject "Refund Request — [Your Booking ID]"
- Include: booking confirmation, payment receipt, reason for refund request, bank details
- Our team reviews within 48 hours and confirms refund status
- Approved refunds processed within 7-10 business days
- You'll receive email confirmation once refund is initiated
7. Grievance Escalation
If your refund request is denied or delayed beyond stated timelines, escalate to our Grievance Officer at sales@singhaniapackers.in. Per the Consumer Protection Act 2019, all complaints are resolved within 15 days.

FAQs
Can I cancel my booking and get a full refund?
Yes. Cancellations made 14 or more days before your move date receive 100% refund of your advance payment. Cancellations 7–13 days prior receive 75% refund; less than 7 days receive 50% refund. What if I need to postpone my move, not cancel?
Postponement (rescheduling to a later date) is free if requested 14+ days before your original move. Within 14 days, a ₹1,000 rescheduling fee applies to cover crew and vehicle adjustment costs. Your advance payment is held as a credit toward the new date. No refund is issued for postponement.
Are GST and tolls already included in your quote?
Our quote includes GST (5% under ITC exemption for goods transport). Tolls, parking permits, and society charges vary by route (e.g., Gachibowli to Begumpet) and are quoted separately. If tolls exceed ₹2,000, we share the actual receipt for transparency. No hidden charges — every item is listed in writing.
What happens if goods are damaged during transit?
Damage claims must be filed within 48 hours of delivery with photos. Standard insurance covers up to ₹50,000 per shipment. Premium insurance (₹2,000 extra) extends coverage to ₹2,00,000. Claims are settled within 30 days of approval. We've served 25+ Hyderabad localities with zero-complaint local crews since 2010.
Do you offer a refund if the move takes longer than quoted?
Moves are quoted with a 1-day buffer. Delays beyond 2 days due to our crew's fault entitle you to ₹500/day refund, capped at 10% of total move cost. Weather, traffic, or society restrictions beyond our control are excluded. We notify you of delays 24 hours in advance — transparency is our policy.
How do I dispute a charge or claim a refund?
Contact our customer service at +91 88855 44436 (Monday–Saturday, 9 AM–6 PM IST) with your booking ID. Submit disputes in writing within 30 days of the move. IBA Code MUO-2547 ensures your complaint is escalated to third-party arbitration if unresolved in 15 days. No cost to you.
Is my advance payment held in a trust account?
Yes. All advance payments (typically ₹5,000–₹10,000 depending on move size) are held separately and not mixed with operational funds. GST invoices are issued immediately. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days of approval. Bank charges, if any, are borne by you.
What's your dispute resolution process under Indian law?
Singhania Packers and Movers operates under Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and IPC clauses for goods transport. Unresolved complaints are escalated to the District Consumer Redressal Commission (Hyderabad, Telangana). Our IBA approval ensures compliance. Jurisdiction is Hyderabad, Telangana. Written complaint resolution timeline is 30–45 days.
